Sydney.....the animal version

this blog title makes me think of a really bad movie in which animals have taken over Sydney....sadly I was not the heroine who rescued said Sydney from giant kangaroos hopping around crushing buildings and such. Instead it simply refers to the day my parentals and I went to the aquarium and the wildlife center.

While the aquarium claims to be "Sydney's #1 attraction", it is most definitely a lie. I mean in competition with opera house???puh.lease. But I had yet to go and while it wasn't numero uno on my list of things to do I rather enjoy looking at fishies. The wildlife center on the other hand....well, while you're in Sydney you can skip it and go to one of the other way better places to look at Australian animals...or you could just like you know go outside and look at animals with no fences/glass between you and them. Or if your parents are there and will pay for you to get in, you can go and decide that it's not the coolest place you've ever been for yourself:)

WHAAA??? We stumbled across a street and a cafe on said street that were named after my daddy.

The aquarium is also wanna-be-legoland with random lego sculptures. I still wanna know how people get schweet jobs like "build lego statues for aquarium in Sydney".....

I bet I have more pictures of koalas on my blog than I do of me.....

Although I'm pretty sure everyone would rather look at them than me so. win/win.

I apparently was really into fake things eating me this day....

I don't remember what this thing was called only that it was really evil and had claws/teeth/venom/something that would hurt really bad. moral of the story if you see one....decide NOT to become friends.

My dad couldn't stop taking pics of them either....they just call to you.
