Practically Magical

After I finished MY LAST CLASS AT MACQUARIE (whaaa???), Jamie and I took the train in to meet up with some peeps for a delightful pizza dinner and to enjoy the sights of vivid. Vivid is the thing they put on (apparently annually?) in downtown Sydney. It's a slew of concerts, speakers, and more importantly lights. It celebrates like innovation and creativity and all that jazz. But anyways the part that we enjoyed last night was the lights. They light up buildings downtown in spectacular ways and then have waaaaayyyyy cool light sculptures as well. I'm pretty sure my mouth was hanging open.like.the.entire.time. For those of you that understand how much I love zoolights and how fantasmic those are.....well this is like zoolights on steroids. epic. And the best part is I think I get to go again on Monday:)

So of course my camera takes especially horrible photos at night. There is probably a setting I can change to make it better, or I could probably edit them to make them better.......but you are so used to craptastic photos that I wouldn't want to ruin the trend we have going here:)

So basically you could stand and watch the customs house all night except there are a gazillion other awesome sights to behold as well. But the customs house was set to a sound track. epic. So you can't really see, but this pic they have like a cityscape....where the sun rose and set, cars driving, and planes flying over.....

This sculpture looked kinda pathetic in real life.....but looks semi awesome in the photo. See better than being there in real life. HA. kidding. a total lie. get yourself to Sydney for this one.

And then I was educated that the iphone takes pretty good pics at night....so here you go again. the iphone version. And if you couldn't tell from the first 50 pictures....I.still.loved.it. Sorry that the pictures are just not as awesome as being in Sydney on a lovely (yet freezing) night walking around the harbor thinking how awesome your life is....

 And then.....I got an app that lets me edit pics. So I just randomly swipe my finger and think I know what I'm doing, feeling artsy and awesome. And I wind up with random pictures like these.....which in reality are hard to tell from the originals. But pretend you like them better anyways. kk?
